Liquid Resin Systems

Liquid Resin Systems

Two part polyurethane and epoxy resin systems used for model making, pattern making, laminating, rapid prototyping and resin infusion.

Casting Resins
RAKU-TOOLŪ casting systems can be used for full and face casting. They are used for the easy and quick production of models, molds and tools.

Rapid Prototyping Systems
Polyurethane based resin that simulates industrial plastics. Used for rapid prototyping and short run production.

Gelcoat Resins
RAKU-TOOLŪ gelcoats help you obtain different surface structures with just a thin coat. From hard to flexible, chemical resistant, polishable, etc. The backing can be chosen to suit the application and the mold, from light weight (laminated) structures to heavy structures.

Laminating Systems
RAKU-TOOLŪ laminating resins help you produce molds and tools that are light weight and stiff (depending on the fiber structure), with or without a gel-coat.

RAKU-TOOLŪ laminating pastes are for the quick production of negative molds since the necessary layer thickness can be obtained in just one application.

Fastcast Resins
RAKU-TOOLŪ high-performance Fastcast resins offer high flowability, quick curing, quick demolding and are easily workable.

This wide range of products is characterized by filled and unfilled systems. The unfilled systems are particularly low viscosity and therefore are able to take high filler loadings.

Infusion Systems
RAKU-TOOLŪ infusion systems are used to impregnate dry fibers under pressure and vacuum. Large fiber constructions can therefore be impregnated in one step thereby producing parts and molds that are homogeneous and free from air voids.

Clear Polyurethane Systems
We provide water white, impact resistant polyurethane casting resins designed specifically for applications that require absolute clarity. The casting resins vary only in potlife and demolding times.

The low viscosity of the resins ensures easy mixing and pouring. The CP range of products cure at room temperature with negligible shrinkage and produce clear, rigid, impact resistant castings.

Applications include electronic encapsulation, prototype models and decorative display castings.
