Component Systems

Component Systems

We offer a complete range of technical prepreg systems providing a wide range of processing parameters and end-use properties, covering curing temperatures from 50°C (122°F) up to 175°C (347°F) and end-use temperatures as high as 344°C (652°F). Our current markets range from high-performance automotive to aerospace applications.

Prepreg
Our low-temperature curing component prepreg incorporates epoxy resin systems with a range of viscosities, pre-impregnated into high-performance fibers such as carbon, glass and kevlar. Designed for a wide range of composite applications and for rapid manufacturing.

Our mid-temperature curing component prepreg systems are also manufactured using a range of toughened epoxy resin systems, pre-impregnated into high-performance fibers such as carbon, glass and kevlar. Designed for use in structural components in motorsport, marine, general aircraft fittings, sporting equipment and many other engineering applications.

Carbon, Glass & Aramid Fabrics
We have a large selection of reinforcement fabrics in many different materials, colors, weights and weave styles.

Honeycomb Core
We offer a range of Aluminum, Nomex®, and Kevlar® honeycomb core materials to support a wide range of applications and uses. We have the largest independent Nomex® and Aluminum cutting and expanding operations in Europe. These materials can be cut to tight tolerances and are available in hexagonal or over-expanded configuration.

Syntactic Core
Sandwich structures, whether utilizing honeycomb, foam, wood or other core materials, offer composite designers a highly efficient structural solution. In many instances, edge ‘close out’ or the need to use very thin core thicknesses (<3mm) preclude the use of traditional core materials. We have developed a range of syntactic (Amlite) & syntactic expanding (Amspand) core materials to overcome this problem.

Adhesive Films
We offer a wide range of adhesive films for a variety of bonding applications, including honeycomb core materials. These films provide excellent adhesive properties over a wide range of core to skin requirements. Curing temperatures from as low as 50°C (122°F) and Service temperatures as high as 220°C (428°F).

Ancillaries
We also provide a number of ancillary products to support our range of composite materials.
