Out-of-autoclave Prepreg
Out-of-Autoclave systems let designers laminate a range of components quickly and more efficiently in a non-autoclave environment while achieving an excellent surface finish. This method allows more flexibility in manufacturing, requires less expensive tooling and gives significant energy savings. The method utilizes a new type of prepreg that can be consolidated using lower pressures, achieved by vacuum bagging only, eliminating the need for high pressure autoclaves. Used in structural components in automotive, marine, aerospace, wind energy and other industries.
