2-Part Structural Adhesives
Structural Acrylic Adhesives are a new class of adhesive, providing a unique balance of high tensile shear and peel strength with the maximum resistance to shock, stress and impact. They can generally be used with little or no surface preparation when bonding many metals and plastics either to themselves or to dissimilar materials. Resistant to salt water, broad temperature ranges, fuels, acids, solvents, UV and humidity, these Structural Acrylic Adhesives have simple, forgiving ratios and rapid room-temperature curing.
Typical markets include general fabrication, coach building, roofing and cladding, boat building and GRP moulding.
- General purpose, high viscosity, two-part toughened epoxy adhesive. Off-white in color.
- Fast set acrylic adhesive, general purpose. Green color when cured. U.V. Stable.
- Fast set, acrylic adhesive, high temperature tolerant (i.e. powder coating safe). General purpose. Black color when cured. U.V. Stable.
- Medium set, acrylic adhesive. General purpose. Green color when cured. U.V. Stable.
- Medium set, acrylic adhesive. High temperature tolerant (i.e. powder coating safe). General purpose. Black color when cured. U.V. Stable.
- Slow set, acrylic adhesive. General purpose. Green color when cured. U.V. Stable.
- LordŽ 506 is a general purpose, semi-flexible, heat resistant acrylic adhesive. Lord 506 acrylic adhesive bonds a wide variety of thermoplastics and thermoset plastics
- Lord 7542 is an equal-mix two component urethane adhesive system. Lord 7542 adhesive bonds FRP, SMC and other plastics with little surface preparation. This adhesive will also bond primed metals.
- High strength adhesive for structural applications. Bonds FRP, SMC and other plastics. Tan in color.
